Thanks to our new partnership with public transport and BAST, you can plan and enjoy your trip stress-free. With the Burgenland Card, which is included in your stay, you can enjoy free travel by train, bus and BAST – and since 1st July, even at weekends!

«Getting there by train or coach»

Your journey begins comfortably in your home town. You have the option of travelling to Burgenland by train or bus. Trains run almost hourly from Vienna to Deutschkreutz, the nearest station to Lutzmannsburg. From there, you can easily continue your journey to Lutzmannsburg with the BAST (Burgenland Anruf Sammeltaxi). Alternatively, you can take the bus from Vienna to Oberpullendorf and continue to Lutzmannsburg with the BAST.

Another highlight of your journey is the BAST service (Burgenland Anruf Sammeltaxi), which has also been available on weekends since 1 July. The Burgenland Anruf Sammeltaxi (BAST) is a flexible means of transport that you can use individually. It runs on demand and takes you from A to B quickly and easily. Currently, bookings can only be made by telephone. Please note that you must reserve at least 60 minutes before your departure.

Operating hours:

• Monday to Sunday: 3:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – Shuttle service to the main routes
• Monday to Sunday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. – Local transport between stops and stations
• Monday to Sunday: 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – Drop-offs from main roads

With the Burgenland Card, you have free access to all public transport and the BAST throughout Burgenland. You will receive the card digitally from us at Tschardakenhof Appartement before your arrival. It couldn’t be easier: simply show your card when you start your journey and enjoy a free and relaxed trip to and from your holiday destination.

How to book your BAST trip

• Register in advance: Sign up once to use the BAST service.
• Book by telephone: Simply call the service hotline to book your journey.
• Getting started: Get picked up at your location and taken directly to your destination.
