«Lutzmannsburg: Along Bernstein Trail»

One of the stages of the trail leads through the famous Blaufränkisch wine-growing region, which also includes Lutzmannsburg. Known for its excellent red wines, especially Blaufränkisch, the region is a true paradise for wine lovers. Here you have the opportunity to stop off at the cosy wine shops and cellars of the winegrowers and taste the region’s fine wines. What could be better than ending the day with a glass of Blaufränkisch after a hike?

And it is here, in Lutzmannsburg, that you will find the Tschardakenhof, a listed, over 200-year-old farmstead that has been lovingly restored and modernised. The Tschardakenhof is the perfect retreat after an active day on the Bernstein Trail. Our individually designed apartments are named after their former uses – the ‘Weinkeller’ (wine cellar) was indeed once a wine cellar, while the ‘Viecherei’ (animal barn) used to serve as a stable. Each apartment combines the charm of bygone times with modern amenities: comfortable box-spring beds, fully equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms ensure maximum comfort.
